GENERAL QUESTIONS

Costs : Electric scooters are significantly cheaper in everyday life than other means of transport, especially petrol-powered scooters. An e-scooter costs about a fifth of what a scooter with a combustion engine would cost per 100 km. There are also hardly any maintenance costs.

Flexibility : The e-scooter can be charged at any conventional socket, whether at home or in the office. The batteries are removable and can be conveniently charged in any room. There is no need to search for a gas station.

Practicality : The e-scooter is waiting right outside the door. In traffic jams, you can simply drive past the cars, and finding a parking space is much more relaxed – what more could you want?

Emissions : None. 100% electric and 0% CO2!

Driving pleasure : Can the journey to work actually be fun? Yes, it can! With an e-scooter. Why not make the journey to work an experience?

Lifestyle : The e-scooter is not a means of transport, it is a lifestyle product. Admiring glances are included.

With Star-Biker you are mobile without having to feel guilty and you are actively involved in protecting the environment. If the electricity for your Star-Biker electric scooter is obtained from renewable energy sources, you are travelling completely CO2-free.

The electricity costs are less than 1 euro per 100 km. By eliminating numerous wearing parts, you save considerable maintenance and repair costs. Experience has shown that the maintenance costs of an electric scooter are around 30% of the maintenance costs of a petrol-powered scooter.

Anyone who wants to drive our e-scooters up to 25 km/h needs a moped license. People born before April 1, 1965 do not need a license. Electric scooters up to 45 km/h are considered mopeds, which is why a class M (scooter) license or a class B car license is required.

All of our electric scooters are road legal and come to your home with a COC certificate, so you can drive off straight away. All you need is appropriate insurance from your comprehensive insurance company, and nothing will stand in the way of your tours.

As soon as we have shipped your order, you will receive an email or text message from us with the tracking information. Next, the shipping company will contact you to arrange a delivery date.

Once you have decided on a vehicle, you need valid insurance coverage. You can get your e-scooter insured cheaply with the insurance company you trust.

To conclude the contract, you will need the road registration, which you will receive from us by registered mail and separately by post.

You will usually receive your e-scooter, e-chopper or e-scooter within 3-5 working days.

If the maximum speed of 20 km/h is exceeded in Germany, there is a legal requirement to wear a helmet. If you have chosen a vehicle "without a driver's license", there is no helmet requirement, as our e-scooters are then equivalent to classic e-bikes.

We supply all our customers with spare parts centrally via our warehouse. If you need spare parts, please contact our customer service info@star-biker.com

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

An e-scooter, e-chopper or e-scooter consists of exactly three components: The motor transfers the energy directly to the rear wheel without any intermediate connection, with the great advantage that there is no gearbox and drive shaft in between, as with a petrol-powered scooter. The battery supplies the power to the motor. The controller regulates the speed and thus connects the battery and motor.

Please note that the battery should never be completely discharged. It is better to charge the batteries in between uses and not to leave them almost discharged before charging.

Please charge your vehicle for at least 4 to 6 hours. The first trip is usually a little shorter, as the battery only delivers its full power after about 3 to 5 charging cycles.

You can remove the battery from your scooter in one easy step and conveniently charge it at any household socket in your home.

Charging on the vehicle is also possible.

Yes, the battery is removable and can be conveniently charged in your own home using a normal household socket. This is of course particularly practical if you have to park the e-scooter on the street because you don't have your own garage and there is no socket available there.

If you have discovered a defect or fault on your vehicle, please use our contact form and send us a picture or video with the chassis number.

All of our e-scooters, e-choppers or e-scooters are similar in terms of basic technology. The most important differences are in ergonomics, performance, comfort and appearance.

2000 watts correspond to 2.70 hp
3000 watts correspond to 4.10 hp

Our lithium-ion batteries retain at least 80% of their initial capacity even after 800 charging cycles. However, good care is also important to ensure that the battery is not deeply discharged and thus damaged.
