Return and disposal of electrical devices and batteries – At Star-Biker
As a retailer, we are legally obligated to take back electrical appliances, batteries, and accumulators in accordance with the WEEE Directive and the Battery Ordinance. We would like to point out that the disposal of electrical appliances and batteries in household waste is prohibited.
Proper disposal of electrical devices and batteries
Please dispose of Do not dispose of electrical devices and batteries in your household waste! Find out about the return options in your area and use the return system for proper disposal of your old devices and batteries. These can be handed in at specialist retailers or battery collection points.
Labeling of batteries and accumulators containing harmful substances
Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. The chemical name of the harmful substance is also shown next to the symbol:
- PB = Battery/accumulator contains lead
- Cd = Battery/accumulator contains cadmium
Free take-back of old devices and old batteries
Of course, we take back old devices and batteries free of charge. If you would like us to dispose of them, simply send the device or batteries back to us.
