Battery regulation
Electronic devices themselves and the batteries or rechargeable batteries included with some devices must be taken back by the seller according to WEEE or the Battery Ordinance. In connection with the sale of electrical devices and batteries or rechargeable batteries, we as retailers are legally obliged to inform our customers of the following:
Disposing of electrical devices and batteries or rechargeable batteries in household waste is prohibited! Do not throw any devices in household waste. Find out about return options in your area and use the return system to dispose of them and have them disposed of through specialist retailers or battery collection points. Batteries or rechargeable batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. The chemical name of the harmful substance is located near the garbage can symbol.
PB = Battery contains lead
Cd = Battery contains cadmium
Of course, we will gladly take back old devices or old batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge. If you would like us to dispose of them, simply send the device or batteries/rechargeable batteries back to us.
