Warranty, service & maintenance at Star-Biker

Our warranty conditions – fair & transparent

When you purchase a new, roadworthy e-scooter or e-chopper, you, as the original purchaser, automatically receive a 2-year Star Biker warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect occurs, you have two options:

• Repair: Repair or replacement of defective components – by Star-Biker or an authorized service partner.
• Subsequent delivery: Provision of an equivalent replacement vehicle if the defect cannot be remedied.
  

Battery guarantee:

Your vehicle's battery is covered by a separate 6-month warranty. During this period, we will replace or repair defective batteries—provided they were used properly. The following are not covered:

• Overheating or hypothermia due to extreme storage conditions
• Water, flame or moisture damage
• Physical damage or tampering with the battery
  

Excluded from the guarantee

Some components are subject to typical wear and tear and are therefore not covered by the warranty:

• Wear parts such as brakes, tires, dampers, lights, handles, saddle
• Operating materials such as oil, lubricants or brake fluid
• Accessories or tuning parts that do not come from Star-Biker
• Damage caused by improper use or unauthorized modifications (e.g. tuning)

Please note: Commercial use is generally excluded from the warranty.

Maintenance – how to keep your warranty intact

To fully protect your warranty, regular maintenance is mandatory. The intervals for all Star-Biker e-scooters and e-choppers are:

• after 1,500 km or at the latest after 12 months
• after 3,000 km or at the latest after 24 months
• after 4,500 km or at the latest after 36 months
• after 6,000 km or at the latest after 48 months

All maintenance must be carried out by an official Star Biker service partner.

Extended warranty up to 48 months

Want to enjoy worry-free travel for longer? No problem: With the optional 48-month warranty extension, you'll stay on the safe side even longer—in combination with our service packages.

Benefits of your extended warranty:

• Longer protection against material defects and workmanship
• Valid from the first purchase or after the manufacturer's warranty
• Prerequisite: regular maintenance according to service booklet
  

Legal warranty

The voluntary Star Biker Warranty supplements your statutory warranty rights. This means you can continue to assert your rights under German law and the Product Liability Act in the event of defects – regardless of your warranty or service package.
